Today I started the cab.
The I cut up the front of the cab and cut out some windows.
Next I started on the roof.
Started out with a flat piece and then slow built it up and smoothed it out as I went.
Next I added some filler to smooth everything out.
After that I painted the cab with some primer.
and set it down on these frames. Then I built
the compartment where the motor would go.
My next move was to start building the fenders, the hardest part of the Mack B.
The mack B fender is made of 2 parts 1 flat and 1 rounded. Witch you will see here next.
I took a little break from making the fender, needed more time to think. So then I saw the Mack 6 spoke rim
and decided to build some for this truck :) I was actually very satisfied with the result :)
Ok, now I have made a hood for the truck. and built the custom other half of the fender, its rounded part.
Next, I moded the hood, The Mack B has a pop-up opening hood that opens on both sides.
So I made it like that as well :)
LOL, see this truck is so old there was even this dead guy inside when i found her hahaha!
Here you see I have completed the fenders and gave some more detail to the cab and added some accesories.
Now I added a fuel thank here and dropped in this cat engine it's starting to take shape :)
Here, I added some more accesories :) and put this custom bumper with bull bars.
I also painted the frame rails and the bumper :)
Next step, paint the cab. I decided to go with this green not only does it look good on the cab but it also makes my engine pop even from far. I liked the contrast.
Next I got some custom decals made for the firewall and the radiator and for the side of the hood.
