I wanted to do something different with Scania.
Some sort of military truck.
It will be all wheel drive.
I want to make a tilt nose also. So the main part of the nose is done.
So I removed it from the cab, before I can move any further on this project.
I must first make its frames.
I decided to go convertible!
I 4got i need space for the electronics! haha
So I put a opening door on the back half.
Ok, Now I have the chasis together. It have the F350 axels
and I mounted aluminum rims. Chasis color Military Gray / Green.
I prefitted the nose and made some hinges for it to tilt.
Ok, nose is on and hinged.
I was going to glue the bumper to the nose. But doing so wouldn't allow it to hinge.
So I made a custom bumper from .80 plastic. I kept it very simple yet effective.
I also made 2 pieces on top of the bumper so that it could screw right into the nose :)
Now I have worked the grill. I made it so that It is also removable.
I got the tires today and had to trim the fenders a little bit.
Now the bumper is finished :)
I've installed the winch bracket on the bumper but the winch itself will be under the hood.
I also installed a couple fuel tanks.
I added a center post to the window.
I wanted to a dually.
So I put some rims together for it and painted them military light green.
Started to look at the F350 suspension and WOW! its tight!!!
No give at all! I figured a way to loosen up the stock suspension.
The only thing I still have to do is to tilt the axel a little more.
I added a second shock just for looks
The bed base is now made :)
Ok, I added more work on her, Added some windows, door handles and antenna.
Ok, I've started to paint, and now I'm still waiting on motor and tranny :)
